Sterimar Nose Hygiene Baby is a medical device based on Sea water. Sterimar draws its Sea water from Bay of Cancale (Brittany-France), an exceptional and protected site renowned for its environmental quality.
Sterimar Nose Hygiene Baby is recommended for daily use for newborns to 3 years old to:
- Gently cleanse the nose and eliminate impurities (dust, mucus, fine pollution particles, allergens,...)
- Moisturise and restore the natural moisture of the nasal mucosa (heating, air conditioning)
- Prevent ENT disorders (colds, ear infections, etc.) by reinforcing the nasal mucosa’s defences
- Improve breathing to facilitate good sleep and bottle or breast feeding
Sterimar sprays are used in the treatment of bronchiolitis.
How to use:On first use, spray to start the system.
- For hygiene and moisturizing of the nasal mucosa: Gently insert the nozzle into the nostril. Spray briefly once or twice into each nostril. Let any excess solution flow out before wiping the nose.
- For a deeper cleansing of the nasal cavities: Lie the baby on his back if under 2 years old or have him sit if over the age of 2. Tilt the baby’s head to the side (never backwards) and gently insert the nozzle in the top of the nostril. Dispense a prolonged spray. Let any excess solution flow out of the other nostril and then wipe the nose. Repeat the operation in the other nostril if necessary.
After each use, clean the nozzle with hot water and dry.
Use 2 to 6 times a day.
