BERGAMOT THE PLANT
- Scientific name: Citrus Bergamia.
- Description: Small tree of the citrus family.
- Origins: Asia, while today it is produced mostly in the south of Italy and France.
- History: Known in Europe since the 16th century, with references to its aromatic and regenerative use. Its name originates from the Turkish word ”begarmudu”, translated as “the prince’s pear”.

- Technique: Extracted from the unprocessed peel of the fruit through cold pressing.
- Scent: Fresh, fruity, mild, and colour yellowish to green-brown. Country: Italy.
