Regulation of metabolism and energy balance
Multi-Guard Sugar Control is a high-potency multivitamin formula designed to regulate metabolism and maintain the body’s energy balance between meals. It contains 25 micronutrients for complete nutritional coverage, with particular emphasis on those significantly involved in carbohydrate metabolism.
Specifically, in the recommended dose of 2 tablets daily, it provides adequate/high amounts of:
- Chromium: Chromium is involved in the insulin signaling pathway, contributing to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels*.
- Zinc: Zinc is found in all the body’s cells and is essential for numerous physiological biological functions. Among these, it is involved in many metabolic reactions, contributing to the normal metabolism of carbohydrates*.
- B-Complex Vitamins: Multi-Guard® Sugar Control contains the full range of B vitamins, a group of water-soluble vitamins of critical importance to the human body, as almost every metabolic reaction requires their presence. Among these, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, and biotin contribute to the normal functioning of metabolic processes aimed at energy production, while B6 additionally supports the normal metabolism of glycogen*. In Multi-Guard® Sugar Control, vitamin B6 is provided as pyridoxal 5-phosphate (P5P), which is the metabolically active form of B6.
- Magnesium: Adequate dietary intake of magnesium is very important for human metabolism, as magnesium is involved in over 300 metabolic reactions, contributing to the normal function of metabolic processes aimed at energy production*. However, modern diets, especially those characterized by high consumption of processed foods, often provide insufficient magnesium, making magnesium deficiency one of the most common contemporary nutritional deficiencies. Multi-Guard® Sugar Control provides a high amount of elemental magnesium in the recommended daily dose of 2 tablets, ensuring adequate supply of this metabolically valuable mineral.
- Cinnamon: Over the last two decades, numerous scientific studies have linked the active compounds in cinnamon to glucose metabolism. Multi-Guard® Sugar Control contains a high amount of standardized Cinnamomum cassia bark extract, as the majority of published studies have been conducted using this. The use of the bark extract is due to its content of metabolically active compounds. The extract contains no coumarin and is therefore suitable for long-term use without risk of interaction with coumarin-based anticoagulants.

How to use:Take 2 tablets daily, preferably one with breakfast and one with lunch or dinner, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
